Woodstock Music & Art Festival was held in August 1969 on a 600 acre farm in Bethel, New York. Over 500,000 thousand people traveled to this obscure upstate New York town to enjoy 32 of the 1960s’ most iconic musical acts. Woodstock is known as one of the greatest happenings of all time, and the festival is perhaps the most pivotal moment in music history.
