Governors Ball May Have A Curfew, But New York City Doesn’t

Governors Ball is fast approaching! The fifth year of the fest will be taking place June 5-7th at Randall’s Island Park, which is located smack dab in the middle of the East River. The festival unfortunately has a curfew of 11:00 pm, mostly due to the festival taking place in a large metropolis on New York state-owned land. But the lovely organizers of Governors Ball know you don’t want the party to stop then- so they’ve put together a full weekend of after parties to satisfy every attendee! What’s really awesome is that all of the after party shows are artists who are performing at the festival, so you can worry a little less if your schedule ends up having some conflicts. It’s also an added bonus that these shows are taking place at some of New York’s most iconic venues- Webster Hall, Apollo Theater, Knitting Factory and Brooklyn Bowl, just to name a few. Check out the schedule below, and head over to their website to get more info about buying tickets. They’ve also partnered with Do N.Y.C to give away tickets to every event, so what are you waiting for!?
