Trey Hebron announces the inaugural Reunion Campout Concert Series at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is home to more than a dozen festivals and a ton of concerts on top of that. At some point during the year, there must be at least one (if not several – many?) festival with music you love: Wanee, Bear Creek, AURA, Purple Hatter’s Ball, Magfest, Springfest and Hulaween. There are also some more intimate gatherings, such as Zach Deputy’s Disk Jams (the next one is May 29-31) and the brand new Roosevelt Collier Suwannee Getdowns (June 26-27  and July 31-August 1).

It is why more than a few people refer to the park matter-of-factly as ‘heaven.’

And now we have a new event for the jamtronic fans. Trey Hebron has just announced the Reunion Campout Concert Series, with the first event on August 21 & 22. Here is Trey’s exciting initial press release:

“It is with great pleasure that we introduce to you our new endeavor taking place at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park!! Reunion: Campout Concert Series will be an intimate getaway at the park and will be EXTREMELY limited in capacity. Each ‘Reunion’ will be different and rather than annually this series will pop-up from time to time when it makes most sense. For our first installment taking place August 21 & 22nd, music will take place primarily in the Music Hall in addition to a Beach Stage on Saturday and a late-night Silent Disco each night!!

Early-bird Weekend Passes will be available Monday, May 18th – June 1st at a steal for only $50 with camping INCLUDED. Regular Weekend Passes will then be $60 in advance and finally $75 at the gate. Tickets and more info on vending, volunteering, etc., will be available soon at www.SuwanneeReunion.com (the site is not live yet).

Mark your calendars, and spread the word!”

This inaugural weekend will feature music from Stratosphere All-Stars. Not familiar with the name? You certainly know the players. The All-Stars are fronted by Mike Greenfield and Steve Molitz. Both of these men have played the park numerous occasions for Wanee, Bear Creek and AURA, Greenfield with Lotus and Molitz with Particle and Headtronix. Greenfield, in fact, just threw down an astounding set with Lotus at the Purple Hatter’s Ball.

Greenfield and Molitz will be joined by David Murphy of Seven Arrows (and formerly STS9) and Marcus Rezak from Digital Tape Machine. And, of course, there is a lot more.

Greenhouse Lounge comes in for two nights (they also just graced the Purple Hatter’s Ball stage). DYNOHUNTER and Zoogma will be there as well, and Jacksonville’s S.P.O.R.E. was tailor-made for this event. Electronica/ house/ chill/ you-name-it DJs will be rocking the park and the Silent Disco, including Sir Charles, Vlad the Inhaler, MSZ, Bells and Robes and Matthew Connor.

Much more information to come, and much more music to be announced. This will be a small, intimate family gathering with a limited number of tickets available (largely based on Music Hall capacity). You don’t want to miss out.

Might as well move to Live Oak now. It will save you a lot of gas money over the course of the year!
