Mad Tea Party 4 boasts a mad, mad line-up!

West Virginia strikes again! Domefest was last month! Allgood is next month. So how about June? That would be the Mad Tea Party Jam!

Appalachian Jamwich presents the 4th edition in Hedgesville June 18th through the 21st. More than 50 bands and performers will grace the stages over the three days. In addition to the regular performances, there are art parties with DJs and several VIP sets as well. Festival headliners include Dopapod, Rising Appalachia, The Werks, Turkuaz, Consider the Source, TAUK, and Earphunk. That would make for an awesome festival right there, but there is so, so much more! Every day is overflowing with amazing music.

Dopapod

Thursday is highlighted by an acoustic set from Consider the Source. Consider that for a moment! Turkuaz, TAUK, the Mantras, the Heavy Pets and jamtronic Broccoli Samurai are in the mix as well. Be sure to check out Deaf Scene, a truly eclectic trio from Baltimore performing sonic experimentation. Late-night sets feature Smoke N Mangos and Brokedown Hustlers.

Heavy Pets

Friday is ridiculous! Consider the Source, Dopapod, The Werks, TAUK, Earphunk and the Heavy Pets are at the top of the bill, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The Royal Noise, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra and the Southern Belles are just part of your dance card. How are you going to miss the Ron Holloway Band? He’s the go-to man on saxophone! And Electric Soul Pandemic is going to twist a bunch of heads before the day is over.

Tauk2

Saturday is a match for Friday, more music than you can absorb (even if you bring your clone!). Rising Appalachia steps up, joined by the Mantras, Dopapod, the Werks and Earphunk. Asheville’s The Fritz plans to funk you up big-time, and just remember this name: The Hornitz. Two guys, beatboxes, a bass trombone, a keyboard, a tenor sax and loops. You have been warned!

The Fritz

Please be sure that you read all of the FAQ and information before you arrive. You cannot arrive before Thursday at noon and must depart Sunday by noon. Start compiling your provisions now! And get those costumes ready!

MusicFestNews will be there! Will you?
