The countdown is ON to Gathering of the Vibes!
There are some pretty astounding festivals coming up in the next few months. Be very, very careful you don’t overlook the first of these titans: Gathering of the Vibes at Seaside Park in Bridgeport CT. The festival starts next Thursday, July 30th, and runs through Sunday, August 2nd.
And while you are considering it, ticket prices go up Saturday at 6 PM. It’s not too late to save some money and see some incredible music.
Incredible? Just consider these two conglomerations:
Warren Haynes and the Seaside All-Stars, featuring George Porter Jr., Branford Marsalis, Jackie Green, Joe Russo, and Marco Benevento and Friends. That’s how you celebrate your 20th anniversary as a festival! And how about:
The String Cheese Incident with David Grisman and Peter Rowan and Friends. Recognize that Grisman and Rowan performed together in the late ‘60s in the way-before-their-time band Earth Opera in addition to their other massive contributions over the past 50 years!
