LOCKN’ Quickly Makes the Best of Bad Weather Situation

LOCKN’ Music Festival has been forced to cancel the first day of music after a devastating storm blew through Oak Ridge Farm in Arlington, VA on Wednesday Night. After closing the campgrounds and assessing the damages, festival organizers deemed it safest to keep the campgrounds closed but unfortunately cancel the performances of Mickey HartThe Doobie Incident (The String Cheese The Doobie Brothers), Billy & The Kids, Deer Tick, Soulive and more. Here are the official updates from LOCKN’ along with information for those who are in the area on where to go until the gates open on Friday morning.

There are still three whole days of music! If you’re in the area tonight and want something to do, Live For Live Music (L4LM) suggests you check out The Southern Belles’ and Moogatu’s impromptu show!

We also have word from Kyle Hollingsworth that Billy & the Kids are going to play in Charlottesville this evening, and String Cheese Incident will do three sets Friday, including the Doobie Incident!
