One last chance to get Squeezed in Florida — The Main Squeeze!

orange dudeThe Main Squeeze has been cruising on their Mind Your Head tour in honor of their new album of the same name. The current leg of the tour has found them motoring through Florida, with dates from Pensacola to Boca Raton and all points in between. They wrap up this segment with one more special event at The Jam in Gainesville tonight (Saturday, October 10) with very special guests Flat Land and The Happy Campers.

You can also see them prominently featured when the amazing AURA Music and Arts Festival returns to the magnificent Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park March 4-6.

Flat Land, meanwhile, has been touring the Southeast, working on a new album, and preparing for their first-ever performance at Suwannee Hulaween in three weeks (also at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park). This outstanding quintet has been knocking audiences out wherever they go, with Fae Nageon De Lestang – violin/vocals, Christopher Storey – guitar/keys, Nate Garland – bass, Grant McLeod – drums, and Ian McLeod – percussion.

And the fun doesn’t stop there, because The Happy Campers import their version of insanity from Orlando. Like Flat Land, they are much in demand for shows and festivals throughout Florida. You can blame Colin Getts – guitar/vocals, Andy Lytle – bass/vocals, Sean Maloney – vocals/guitar, Joey Colella – drums, and Joel Hernke – sound/lights. Ask about “Pizza,” and be sure to request “Ridiculous Elephant” (you can thank me later).

Set the controls for the heart of the sun, or 817 West University Avenue, Gainesville, whichever is closer. You know you need a good Squeeze!
