Catskill Chill To Become ‘Adirondack Chill’?

The Post Star of Glenn Falls, New York reported today that Catskill Chill promoter Dave Marzolla met with the Warren County committee that allocates money raised through the county’s bed tax and told them, “We really think this is the perfect home for our festival.” The committee seems to be on board and has granted the festival $15,000 for marketing from Warren County through the county’s occupancy tax. Marzolla is looking to move the festival to September 30 – October 2, 2016 at Charles Wood Park in Lake George and has confirmed to the county that if the festival moves “Catskill” will be removed from the festival’s name.

Marzolla did not want to move the festival from its home Camp Minglewood but announced last year that he had to move it for reasons beyond his control. This year’s edition of the festival at Camp Minglewood in Hancock sold 5,000 tickets and saw performances from Moe., Lotus, Twiddle, Lettuce and many more. Wherever the festival ends up, we know that the Chill Fam will continue to show their venue All Love ~ All The Time.
