Kung Fu closes Fly Dragons tour, keeps right on jammin’

Kung Fu wraps up their East Coast tour today (Saturday, December 5) at the 8 x 10 in Baltimore with Consider the Source. From there, the funkateers head to Florida for four shows, back to Toad’s Place for two special performances, the New Year’s run and finally a late January West Coast run.

Friday, Electric Kif again joins the party along with Herd of Watts at the 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville, and the four-date swing ends in Tampa at The Crowbar with Holey Miss Moley, the close of the Fly Dragons tour.

The two shows at Toad’s Place (New Haven) represent the Fifth Annual Toys for Tots Spectacular. On Friday, it is Kung Fu “presenting Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly with guest vocalist Alan Evans of Soulive.” And The Werks, fresh from their new album release Inside a Dream, will join the party as well. Saturday’s show is billed as Kung Fu and Friends with special guests Break Science.

kf 30th

The show December 30th at 89 North in Patchouge is a Save Montauk event with The Montauk Project and Soundswell. And the New Year’s Eve blow-out at The Palladium in Worcester is a musical trifecta: Kung Fu, Dopapod and Turkuaz!
