Little Econ Love Fest announces Valentine’s weekend lineup

Everybody’s doing it, doing it, doing it! Releasing festival lineups early, of course!

Little Econ Love Fest moves from March to February (Valentine’s Weekend!) and announces its second wave of artists. This fest, brought to you by Whatsit Entertainment Presents, continues to grow, and it continues to delight festies looking for smaller, more intimate venues. That describes Maddox Ranch in Lakeland, Florida, to a T!

Captain Green, the Baton Rouge jazz funkateers, will headline, along with Atlanta’s Copious Jones, a brilliant amalgam of heady rock and intelligent, thoughtful lyrics. The Bath Salt Zombies have been amazing fans all over with their stunning black-light show and excellent, debauched tunes.

You will be hearing a lot more about this great lineup, but two special notes are in order. Holey Miss Moley, the Orlando funksters, have been throwing down simply brilliant shows recently. They are working on their special set for Hometeam New Year’s Rally, but for Little Econ they will unveil a P-Funk special. Get your seats on the rail NOW!

And then there is Christian Ryan, saxophone and flute wizard with Holey Miss Moley, Leisure Chief and a dozen other side projects. Those who made it to last year’s Little Econ will remember the Soulquarian Revue he lovingly put together for the fest. This year’s special set? A tribute to Frank Zappa called Christian Ryan’s Garage! Talk about “G-Spot Tornado!”

Love Fest? Valentine’s Weekend? Ya think?

Bravo, Trey Miller!
