Purple Hatter’s Ball Announces Action Day with The Polish Ambassador, Thursday Pre-Party and Much More!

The Purple Hatter’s Ball was founded as a means to give back. The festival is focused on raising social awareness as well as funding for the Rachel Morningstar Foundation, which is why they are excited to announce their Action Day in conjunction with activist (and performer!) The Polish Ambassador.

Coming together on the day before Purple Hatter’s on Thursday, June 16ActionDays.us and The Polish Ambassador will bring the power of the people together with purpose. PHB attendees are invited to unite in action and have an amazing time, getting their hands in the dirt and then raising them up in the air, with their choice of awesome activities that build skills, relationships, and tangible regenerative projects that will make Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park a better place for years to come.

Action Day projects include:

Project 1: Restore and prepare garden areas to plant a Food Forest that will nourish the land and people for generations to come.

Project 2: Build multi-purpose Waste Management Stations that reduce the amount of waste, energy, and resources consumed by inefficient disposal practices.

Project 3: Learn about soil testing (what is in the dirt, and is it good for you?), Mycoremediation (mushrooms that clean it up!), permaculture (how plants, animals, and people interact together) and more.

As a thank you for their work, Action Day participants are invited to attend the Thursday Night Pre-Party for free featuring Sunsquabi, Savi Fernandez Birthday BandSpace Kadet and Gypsy Elise.

In addition to Action Day, PHB also announced the lineup for the Beach Stage, which will be located along the beautiful Suwannee River. This stage will host a variety of performers, including the late-night Silent Disco. Artists include Vlad the Inhaler, Sir Charles, Elliot Mess, Combustible and many more.

Along with the Beach Stage, festival goers will enjoy performances from the impressive lineup at the Amphitheater and Campground stages.

Purple Hatter’s Ball benefits The Rachel Morningstar Foundation (a non-profit 501c3 organization) in honor of longtime SOSMP friend and music festival lover Rachel Morningstar Hoffman. The most memorable moment of the Purple Hatter’s Ball weekend is when Mama Margie (Rachel’s mother) leads an emotional ceremony celebrating her daughter’s memory. Each year, they released 24 monarch butterflies – 23 to represent Rachel’s age when she was taken from this world and one for her spirit that lives on.
