Watch Now: The Forms Play Rockaway Beach Locals Party
The Forms are a part of a very special musical renaissance going on in Rockaway Beach, a booming beach town hidden at the end of the A train in NYC. Throughout this entire summer, you couldn’t walk more then a few blocks without hearing amazing original tunes from Rockaway bands playing to locals and transplants alike. The Forms are one of these bands. The band played seven shows in Rockaway this summer, one of the best ones at the incredible Rockaway Beach Surf Club (home of delicious watermelon margaritas and the famous Tacoway Beach) for the Locals Surf School party. Their entire set was great as they performed with old-school surf flicks playing behind them and got the entire backyard dancing. They even gave the crowd a treat by performing a not-yet-released song called “Trust” which will be the first new music anybody’s heard from them in many years.
