Tampa/St Petersburg Festival Refugee Guide

For anyone who is looking for something to do this weekend in Tampa/St. Pete but can’t make it to Spirit Of Suwannee Music Park for Hulaween, there are still some great options to be had.

For starters on Friday Night, WMNF is holding their 37th Annual Freaker’s Ball at Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa. This year’s party features Trae Pierce and the T-Stones – a powerhouse combining funk, rock and dance that always puts the energy level through the roof. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs so get your best costumes ready to win prizes from The Florida Aquarium, Skipper’s Annual Passes, a Hard Rock staycation and more.
The band has a soon to be released single dropping called “One Nation” and will also be playing a Thursday set at Hulaween before heading down to Tampa.

Rounding out the weekend, head back to The Ale & Witch for Uncle John’s Band. This Grateful Dead tribute has played well over 900 shows just on Thursday at Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa as well as playing the Fare Thee Well pre party in Chicago before the final Grateful Dead shows last year.
