Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival Announces 2017 Lineup
One thing is for sure, there is certainly no lack of festivals these days. There’s something out there for everyone, no matter what your taste in music or vibes are. But when it comes to trailblazing festivals, ones with a little bit of something for everyone and all the vibes you could ever hope for, it’s pretty tough to top Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. It’s an institution. One of the Founding Fathers of the festival scene. It hasn’t been afraid to grow with its audience, and yet somehow always manages to stay true to its roots, every year bringing in fresh faces as well as hoards of returning veterans of all ages and walks of life.
If you ask many of these vets, they will tell you it doesn’t even matter who is playing. They buy their tickets at Thanksgiving well before the lineup even emerges (though the rumor mill is stunningly accurate). But for those of you who bank on the coveted list to decide if you will be making the trek to Manchester in June, today is the second best day only bested by Bonnaroo itself. LINEUP DAY!
We already knew that legendary U2 would be making an appearance, and thanks to the traditional RooClues we got a few more names early, but you can now officially add to that list the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper (officially on the lineup this year!), Major Lazer, the xx, Lorde, Big Gigantic, Cage the Elephant, Flume, Travis Scott, and many MANY more.
