Forget That Cold Stuff! Joe Marcinek Warms Up in Florida, LA, San Diego

Joe Marcinek claims to be from Indiana, but you might have observed that he prefers the Southern sunshine to the Midwest snow. He began his latest run with a show in Orlando and then up to Savannah last night. Tonight, he and compatriots hit the Side Bar in Tallahassee, with Faking Jazz (love that name!) and Lazarus Wilde opening. Sunday, they travel to the Charleston Pour House.

This particular configuration includes Shaun Martin (Snarky Puppy) on keyboards, Tony Hall (Dumpstaphunk) on bass, and Alvin Ford, Jr. (Dumpstaphunk, Pretty Lights) on drums. And, of course, Marcinek on guitar. The four shows next week (January 11-14) feature Hall along with Steve Molitz (Particle) on keyboards and Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident) on drums. Then it’s on to LA and San Diego the following weekend. Give Marcinek credit for braving the cold for February shows in NYC, Georgetown and New Haven. And fair is fair: he is going to Evansville, Indiana, in January as well.

It’s always a party when Joe Marcinek visits your town! You can’t know the players without a program. Hope this helps!
