Twiddle Hitting the Road Hard in 2017

Vermont-based quartet Twiddle have just announced that they will be releasing Chapter Two of their highly anticipated dual-disc album Plump on April 15thIn anticipation of the new release, the band will be kicking off a spring tour next week.

Chapter 2 of Plump follows the December 2015 release of the preceding disc Chapter One. The new “chapter” features several tracks that were engineered by legendary producer Ron Saint Germain. While Twiddle has become known for their extensive improvisation at live shows, the band’s maturation is evident on this more accessible, lyrically-driven soundtrack. Plump is filled with catchy earworms and radio-friendly pop hooks and is joined by the accompaniment of horns and strings on this reggae- and funk-tinged recording.

The expansive tour kicks off on 2/25 in San Francisco’s legendary venue The Fillmore and also features a two-night run at PlayStation Theater in NYC. This tour will also be a warm-up for their very own festival Tumble Down, which takes place in their hometown of Burlington, VT, July 28 & 29th, and a Red Rocks Amphitheater appearance with Moe. on 8/13. You can check out the full list of tour dates below, and keep an eye out for more tour dates if they’re not stopping by your city.
