Bonnaroo Unveils “The Other” to Keep the Party Going Late into the Night

Leading into its sixteenth year, at the top of every festival-goer’s Bucket List, Bonnaroo is coming close to its annual celebration. We are less than 80 days away from the four-day weekend in Manchester, TN. Many still wonder what will happen this time around, well into the recent acquisition of the festival from Live Nation. People are at the edge of their seats wondering if Bonnaroo is headed in a different direction from the Bonnaroo heydays, and the team behind the festival is now beginning to pull a couple tricks from up their sleeves.

The team behind Bonnaroo just released via social media news about the revamping of a stage that has a long history at the festival. Previously known as “The Other Tent,” it is getting a meta twist on the old name and sticking to “The Other.” This time around, it is giving fans the ultimate experience that makes 100% sense to anyone that has ever been to a multi-genre festival.

Bonnaroo has a large and renowned history for closing the festival with legendary acts such as Billy Joel, Elton John and Tom Petty. This time around, the festival has taken a fair share of criticism for closing on Sunday with latest pop acts Lorde, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott. However, the festival has continued to impress us with suiting the fans of all kinds of generations. Bonnaroo fans, freshman and pro, will have the opportunity to live in harmony with the accommodations that will be laid out. Now, the electronic, dance, and hip-hop acts have a home at Bonnaroo where artists and fans can both keep the energy going all night through an impressive lineup for anyone who is a fan of younger hip-hop and dance genres.

Many fans have had the problem at other festivals where they often miss out on their favorite act because it was too early in the day or conflicted with another act. The issue has now been solved with a stage dedicated to acts that will attract the same crowd. This adjustment will be in support of everyone, especially those that aren’t trying to rage in the Tennessee summer sunlight. Now, those who plan to listen to heavier music have a home in the nightlife which won’t interfere, while giving the genre a place for it to shine with a stage that will host large and impressive audio and visual production suited for the acts listed.

Many acts on the bill for “The Other” are some of the hottest acts around for younger crowds, while many can look forward to some artists they have been hoping to see. This will be a long-awaited performance for Grime/UK hip hop fans to attend a Skepta show. Fans also have plenty to look forward to with electronic acts on the lineup such as Snails, who is infamous for secret sets and back-to-back sets that will leave you feeling purified by “VomitStep” at the end of the night. The acts that will be performing on this stage include Marshmello, Big Gigantic, Yellow Claw, D.R.A.M., Matoma, Louis the Child, Borgore, NGHTMRE, Getter, Snails, Skepta, Illenium, Claude Von, Stroke, G Jones, OOKAY, Herobust, Ganja White Night, Rezz, Goldfish, San Holo, Haywyre, Vanic, Unlike Pluto, Barclay Crenshaw, Innanet James, Jason Huber, DJ Mel, and Case Bloom.

Regardless of the kinds of music that you listen to, Bonnaroo will have further tricks up their sleeves in the coming months to accommodate those in attendance. Tickets are still available through their main site starting at $349.50 plus fees.
