The Countdown To The Anastasia Music Festival Is Almost Over

It is almost here! On March 16-18th, the beautiful St. Augustine Amphitheater will host the inaugural Anastasia Music Festival  with three days of stellar traditional and modern bluegrass performances. With over 20 acts including Sam Bush, David Grisman’s Bluegrass Experience, Sierra Hull, Elephant Revival, and Fruition, the lineup is packed with must-see sets.

We have a couple of tips to help you make the most of your festival experience: Winter has pulled another sneak attack. The usual warm Florida temps will be dropping into the 30s and 40s at night, so make sure you bring some warm gear. Even though it might be a bit chilly during the day, apply that sunscreen regularly to help keep the burn away and stay hydrated. The venue site states that backpacks, outside food and beverages, and items such as iPads and tablets are prohibited. A full list of items that are allowed and prohibited can be found HERE. Re-entry is allowed so you can get in and out of the festival if needed. Parking at the main lot (1340 A1A South) is free and on a first-come basis. There is also parking available at the Elk’s Lodge. And, as always, remember to pace yourself: it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
