Long Beach Festival Proves What We Already Know: Music Tastes Good!
Music Tastes Good returns for its second year September 30th and October 1st at Marina Green Park in Long Beach CA. Headliners include Ween Saturday and Sleater-Kinney Sunday. This event mixes music, food and art in a delicious mix, presented by 89.9 KCRW. Tickets go on sale today.
Los Lobos, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, RIDE, Alvvays and Of Montreal are all on this year’s outstanding lineup. So are Dr. Octagon (Kool Keith), Old 97’s, !!!, LedFloyd, Digable Planets, Bearcoon, Heaven 17, Big Freedia and two dozen more.
Oh, food! Did we mention food? 14 chefs will be on hand to cook up some magic, seven from Long Beach and seven from New Orleans.
