Joe Marcinek Hosts Dead & Co. After-Party Dead Jam, Re-invades Florida
International man of mystery Joe Marcinek is back to his old tricks. Tonight he has put together the Dead and Co. after-party with a Dead Jam featuring Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) on keyboards, Tony Hall (Dumpstaphunk) on bass, Alan Evans, Jr., (Soulive, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe), and Ron Haynes’ Game Changers horn section for a massive throwdown at HVAC Pub in Chicago. Of course it’s sold out, but maybe you’ll get lucky.
From there, he heads back to Florida for yet another invasion, reuniting with some of the Sunshine State’s very best. For this run, guitarist Marcinek will be joined by the incomparable Matt Lapham (Shak Nasti, Absinthe Trio, Con Leche) on bass, Juanjamon (The Juanjamon Band) on tenor saxophone, and Michael ‘Thunderfoot’ Garrie (The Juanjamon Band) on drums. Christian Ryan (Leisure Chief, Holey Miss Moley, etc.) will join them for the July 6th show.
Later in the month, Marcinek will play the Park Theatre in Holland MI — lineup TBA, but you know it will be smokin’!
He will return for at least two more Florida shows in September with members of The Heavy Pets. More shows TBA!
