Bourbon, Food & Music at Bourbon & Beyond – Sounds About Right!

So you’re hosting a festival, and your motto is:

A perfect blend of bourbon, food & music

“For our love of bourbon. For our love of Kentucky,” they say.

Let’s take them at their word on [1] and [2], because they’re certainly made good on [3] music. That, in fact, would be a gross understatement. Headliners, blues royalty, great bluegrass and more fill four stages Saturday, September 23rd, and Sunday, the 24th, appropriately named the the Oak Stage, Barrel Stage, Mash Stage, and Bluegrass Situation Stage. This is Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville.

If you are looking for a one-two-three punch, please consider Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, and the Steve Miller Band. Add Band of Horses for the knock-out punch.

The blues is so deep here you might never get out: Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark, Jr., Amos Lee, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Paul Rodgers, Jonny Lang and… Fantastic Negrito! Jam and blues come in the form of Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, G. Love and Special Sauce, and Chris Robinson Brotherhood.

And the bluegrass stage will stay true to the spirit of the Bluegrass State, with Love Canon, Town Mountain, Mipso, New Town, The Steel Wheels and much more.

Bourbon, food & music. What a great concept!
