Time to Get on the Launchpad and Join the Particle People
Steve Molitz is taking his space porn funk machine on the road again for eleven shows this October. Particle hits Florida first with shows in Jacksonville, Dunedin and Boca Raton before heading to Key West and the venerable Green Parrot, which told Irma to funk off. The six shows following find the quartet in Savannah, Raleigh, Roanoke, Saratoga Springs, and Stanhope. Lespecial will join Particle for the North Carolina, Virginia and New York shows.
Particle are: Kito Bovenschulte, drums; Michael Drum, guitar, keyboards, vocals; Steve Molitz, keyboards, vocals; and Clay Parnell, bass, vocals. the band has been through a number of transformations, but Molitz has been the constant through it all.
Although Particle has not performed recently in Florida (the last tour was October 2015), Molitz has been no stranger. His good friend Joe Marcinek toured through Florida at least four times during the past year, and Molitz has joined him for some incredible outings. So Molitz knows the venues — Green Parrot, Dunedin Brewery, The Funky Biscuit, and 1904 Music Hall — and it will be great to see Particle play them.
