Hulaween Hurricane Relief Fundraiser/Party Next Wednesday in the Music Hall!

Look, many of you are getting to the park early next week for Suwannee Hulaween, planning on attending Thursday’s pre-party and the three-day main event. So now there’s one more way to enjoy yourself at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park — next Wednesday!

Come to the Hurricane Relief Fundraiser in the Music Hall Wednesday night for music from some of the Sunshine State’s best — and a great Alabama friend. There is a $20 minimum donation suggested at the door, and 100% of the proceeds go to Love Inc of Live Oak. They also receive food from Conscious Alliance, helping Suwannee Valley residents with Hurricane Irma relief.

Great cause, great music. Start with The Heavy Pets, the gentlemen from South Florida who can do it all — rock, funk, reggae, blues, jam, ska, you name it. They’ve been rocking the national scene for years and are excited to add a second night to their Hula experience this year.

Come Back Alice brings their gypsy swamp rock to the park once again. They mix superb originals with a fascinating set of covers. They recently played an all-Allman Brothers set with Melody Trucks and also blew out an entire Led Zeppelin show. Tony Tyler and Dani Jaye and bandmates thrill every time they hit the stage.

Those names you know. JOOSE you may not know — yet — but we guarantee you will. The powerful six-member fusion jazz funk rock band began covering fusion standards but are now continuing to add on to an amazing original five-part opus about life. And four of these cats also perform with Come Back Alice, and all play in other bands as well.

Beartoe is the brainchild of Beartoe Aguilar, a fine blues guitarist. This Deland group injects great blues roots sensibilities into everything they do.

And finally there is that Alabama guy. Albert Simpson is a regular at the park for many celebrations. If you got up early enough, you might have heard him over Wanee breakfast at the cafe. He mixes some fine originals with an eclectic mix of covers to keep you entertained.

Great music, great cause, great friends, great atmosphere.

Do the right thing.
