Jimi Meets Funk Returns with the Roosevelt Collier Trio

Roosevelt Collier and colleagues take Jimi Meets Funk back on the road for ten dates starting Wednesday, December 6th, in Raleigh at the Pour House Music Hall. This run takes the Roosevelt Collier Trio from North Carolina up through DC, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Bridgeport before heading back to Carolina.

This tour pays homage to Jimi Hendrix, and Collier is joined by two titans: Matt Lapham on bass and Anthony AC Cole on drums. Cole also handles the vocals. The show in Asheville on December 8th is part of Enter the Earth’s 16th Anniversary Xmas Party.

January will be busy for Collier as well. The trio will play the Dunedin Brewery, then head to Miami for the Jam Cruise Kick-off Party with New Mastersounds guitar master Eddie Roberts joining them; Turkuaz is also on the bill at Wynwood Yard. Then Collier hops on Jam Cruise and later closes out the month at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom with Dave Watts & Friends.
