One Big Holiday: My Morning Jacket’s All-Inclusive Destination Festival!
One Big Holiday: a description, as well as the name of the music festival hosted by famed indie rockers My Morning Jacket.
The festival takes place in Punta Gana. If that name does not sound familiar, it is because it is in the Dominican Republic, or DR. Housed at the glorious Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, tickets to this event are ‘all inclusive,’ meaning that food, lodging, room service, and even booze are paid for, as well as unlimited. They even go as far as to say a liquor dispenser is available in-room! I’m definitely going to buy some stock in Pedialite before this festival kicks off on March 2nd.
During the four days of the festival, along with fabulous resort amenities and numerous add-on excursions that are available, concertgoers will be treated to three sets of My Morning Jacket, accompanied by great acts such as Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Portugal. The Man, Moon Taxi, and many more!
As of this writing, tickets are sold out, but, as with all festivals, I’m sure someone has had to cancel, and tickets may be found floating around online, so happy hunting!
