Leave it to Michael League and his Snarky Puppy crew to build a brilliant festival from the ground up — for the second year! The GroundUP Music Festival returns to Miami Beach February 9th through the 11th, and once again the lineup is slammed with some of the finest musicians from a broad range of genres.
Snarky Puppy, the juggernaut defining big band for the 21st century, will play all three nights. Sharing the headlining billing are Béla Fleck and the Flecktones Trio with Victor Wooten and Futureman on Friday, The Wood Brothers on Saturday, and Robert Glasper Sunday.
The lineup includes Joshua Redman, the Charlie Hunter Trio with Lucy Woodward, Banda Magda, Roosevelt Collier, Breastfist, Knower, Weedie Braimah, FORQ and a dozen more.
And then there are the great late-night shows, including Underground System, Shaun Martin’s Go-Go Party, PARIS_MONSTER, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Bob Lanzetti, and many more.
HANG WITH THE BANDS FOR 3 DAYS OF GREAT MUSIC ON THE BEACH!
How can you beat that? (Answer: YOU CAN’T!)
