The Scream of the Butterfly, a Tribute to Jim Morrison and the Music of the Doors

There are few names in all of rock music spoken with the same reverence as Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore, whose recording history lit our fire ever since their emergence in 1966 up until the death of the iconic Morrison.

And it’s not often that musicians have staged shows in honor of this amazing American musical juggernaut.

With great excitement, OnTap Music presents The Scream of the Butterfly, a Tribute to Jim Morrison and the Music of the Doors. This show, at The Crowbar in Ybor City on Friday, June 15th, will feature artists and musicians from a number of bands in the local area.

Represented in this exciting production will be members of Displace, Cope, Mountain Holler, J.T. Brown, Row Jomah, Garden Club, Flow Sisters, Shevonne Philidor, Sarah Ferrer, Jonathan Huber and more!

In addition to the music on stage, there will be live painting by artists Ashley Cantero, Bean Spence, Adam Danger Smith, Stephen Barry, and Cosmic Collective Art.

You’ll get no Roadhouse Blues from this show, only a lovely Moonlight Drive home When the Music’s Over. Tell All the People that you see!

So we’re telling YOU!
