Have You Bought Your Ticket for the Suwannee Hulaween Pre-Party?

OK. So, at this point, you know that Suwannee Hulaween is sold out. You might find somebody selling online, but demand will certainly exceed supply. Now the question for those of you who DID purchase a ticket to the three-day Hula extravaganza October 26-28:

HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR TICKET FOR THE PRE-PARTY?

Only those with three-day passes can purchase tickets for the pre-party, and those are limited. Why should you consider coming a day earlier?

For starters, there are activities — yoga, hooping, kirtan, slackfline and more — all day Thursday. You can find out more about all of these in our article about Spirit Lake activities.

On to the music, and what a loaded day Thursday is! With two dozen musical performers and bands, the pre-party is its own mini-festival.

At the top of the bill are a pair of sets from Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and a pair from STS9, including Axe the Cables. Lettuce, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Floozies, and Papadosio are also prominent.

Some members of the festival’s host The String Cheese Incident will get some warm-up Thursday before their seven sets over the next three days. Michael Travis and Jason Hann invite some friends to join their improvisational EOTO, and Kyle Hollingsworth and band also play.

Two of the brightest features of the “undercard” are be Ghost Light, featuring Holly Bowling and Tom Hamilton, and Cory Wong, who has been blowing it up everywhere he goes. Marco Benevento will bring his souped-up piano, and there’s some bass courtesy of Psymbionic. Minnesota and Rayland Baxter are also scheduled.

The South is well represented with Asheville’s The Broadcast, Savannah’s Funk You, and CBDB out of Tuscaloosa. And the Sunshine State roster shimmers, with Kaleigh Baker, Ajeva, Locochino, Honey Hounds, Side Hustle, and Just Chameleons.

Do it NOW, before you get SHUT OUT!
