Umphrey’s McGee Meets Abbey Road
Festival favorites Umphrey’s McGee managed to squeeze in a few hours of recording at the famous Abbey Road Studio in London during their Summer 2014 tour. The result was “The London Session – A Day at Abbey Road Studios“, a 10 song album that includes new original material, reworked tracks from previous albums, and popular hits from their live shows that have never appeared on a studio recording. The album will also include a cover of The Beatles’ I Want You (She’s So Heavy) from their Abbey Road LP. The new disc drops on April 7, so all you Umphrey’s fans make sure to mark your calendars.
