The First Wave of Artists Announced for Suwannee Hulaween!
Suwannee Hulaween just dropped the initial lineup for their third amazing festival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, presented by Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions, on October 28-30 (with a probable preparty on October 27th as well). You know just how incredible the last two have been, and 2016 promises to be even bigger and better!
And the floodgates are now open for more information rushing your way during the next six months. Be sure to check to the official website regularly for information, and stay tuned to MusicFestNews as we bring you everything you’ll need for another glorious Hulaween experience!
String Cheese Incident will of course play all three nights at Hula. As usual, they have surrounded themselves with the cream of the crop across genres, and remember this is merely the first wave of artists, with many more to be announced.
My Morning Jacket returns to SoSMP, as do Umphrey’s McGee, STS9, Lettuce, The Claypool-Lennon Delirium and Snarky Puppy. More funksters include The Revivalists, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and The Motet.
Jamtronica/electronica is further represented with Gramatik, Boys Noize, Bob Moses, and Future Rock. Many DJs will be on hand to spin as well. Plan to check out Disclosure (from across the pond), Slow Magic, Manic Focus and Unlike Pluto.
Big Gigantic will be joined onstage by The Motet. Rapper Logic, hip-hop masters Rebelution and Anderson.Paak & the Free Nationals, and Australia’s alternative dance group Rüfüs du Sol will all keep you movin’ and groovin’.
SCI, who defy all boundaries, have also invited their bluegrass friends Greensky Bluegrass, another band who pushes beyond the limits of their alleged genre.
And Florida will be well represented again this year, with swamp funk from Come Back Alice, reggae funk from The Savi Fernandez Band, pure funk madness from Ajeva, prog funk from Post Pluto, and soul funk from The Savants of Soul. And El Dub loops his funk!
