Heather Gillis and her band have a busy schedule heading into New Year’s and January. She and the boys hit Southbound tonight (Friday, December 15th) in Augusta and the Pour House in Charleston Saturday.
Her New Year’s run crisscrosses her Sunshine State home for dates in Jupiter, Jacksonville and Tampa before ringing in the new year at The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton.
And the January schedule highlights Georgia and the Gulf Coast states, plus a Tennessee date. She hops on Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea in February and has announced shows in San Francisco and an appearance at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival.
Gillis, who plays guitar and lap steel and sings, is joined by bandmates Dallas Dawson, drums; Evan Sarver, bass; and Spencer Pope, Hammond B3 organ.
