Voodoo Visionary added one more gig to their Florida swing. Today (Thursday, March 31st), the boys play TWO separate shows. First, they will play outside the Amalie Arena before the Tampa Bay Lightning’s game. Then they pack up and drive to the Dunedin Brewery, where they will join forces with The Groove Orient from Orlando for an outstanding night of music.

Friday finds them opening the Little Manatee April Fool’s Jam Fest at the Canoe Outpost in Wimauma. And Saturday they play from late until dawn, probably, closing down the beach bash that is The Okaloosa RevFest in Ft. Walton Beach.

On Tuesday, Voodoo Visionary visited the studios of WMNF 88.5 in Tampa to play live on the air during In the Groove, the jamband show. Host Thor Bendickson handled the interview in between songs. Before their set, host Wayne Tagle had a phone interview with Marcus King, the hot new guitar slinger who impressed Warren Haynes enough to put King on Haynes’ label. King and band play the Little Manatee Fest on Saturday evening. Wednesday evening, the band hosted a jam at St. Matthew’s Tavern in Orlando.

You can listen to the entire show on WMNF’s archive; the show will be available until next Tuesday’s program. You can listen via this link. The Marcus King interview begins right after the theme song, and Voodoo Visionary’s set begins about halfway through the first hour and plays into the second hour.
