Pure Livin’ Tour Starts This Thursday for the Savi Fernandez Band

2016 has been a superb year for the Savi Fernandez Band. Among the giant steps forward were a headlining show at House of Blues Kissimmee, a tremendous set at Orange Blossom Jamboree, and a simply stunning set at Purple Hatter’s Ball plus great sit-ins with Voodoo Visionary, Corbitt-Clampitt Experience and Roosevelt Collier and Friends.

In July, the band headlined Tampa’s Rock the Park, then headed to Costa Rica for the Reggae to the Rescue pre-party before sitting in with Rebelution and Ojo de Buey.

And now the trio is embarking on a 13-date spin through Georgia, North Carolina, West Virginia and Florida, including stops at Soulshine Farm Music Festival, Camp Barefoot Music Festival, and Pass the Good Music Fest, appropriately dubbed the Pure Livin’ Tour (Savi often ends his posts with ‘Pura Vida!’).

The current trio features leader Fernandez on guitar and vocals with Jon Read on bass and Dyrell Brown on drums. John only recently joined Savi, but this promises to be a brilliant collaboration, given their awesome set at a recent 3 Daughters Brewing show.

The new tour kicks off this Thursday, August 11, at Barrelhouse in Savannah. There are five NC shows, include Soulshine Farm Music Festival, before the band heads to West Virginia for Camp Barefoot.

The Savi Fernandez Band are also confirmed for Suwannee Hulaween at the end of October. Find more information on the official Facebook page.
