Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Checking Flight Plans Heading to Domefest
Wings de-iced. Flaps checked. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are preparing their flight itinerary for 16 shows leading up to Domefest, the Pigeons’ own festival, before hitting the summer fest tour hard. Get ready for some major-league FU… NK!
The tour begins this Wednesday, March 29th, at Flour City Station in Rochester NY. After a Thursday date in Ithaca, PPPP heads to the Brooklyn Bowl for shows Friday and Saturday, both nights to be webcast via nugs.tv.
From there, the tour heads south through DC and Virginia, then further south to Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina. The next leg features four shows in New England, followed by three dates in Kentucky.
After those 16 shows, they’ve given themselves less than three weeks to get everything in place for Domefest, their own festival at Fort Royale Farm in Bedford PA May 18-20. PPPP will play each day, and they’ll be joined by Aqueous, Consider the Source, The Fritz, Broccoli Samurai, The Main Squeeze, Electric Love Machine and many more.
By then, the festival season will be in full gear. In June, PPPP heads to Electric Forest for both weekends, then to Friendly Gathering. The July schedule finds them at Levitate Festival and Camp Bisco.
Their Red Rocks date with moe. and Twiddle (August 13th) is sandwiched in between two prominent appearances at the Peach Music Festival and LOCKN’.
And they recently released a live show from last year’s Great Outdoors Jam in Florida (July 2nd).
Boy, are their wings gonna be tired!
