Late Night, Schmate Night! Bonnaroo Late-Night Lineup is Here!
I don’t know about you, but late night at Bonnaroo is my favorite. It is when people really let their freak flags fly, and anything goes. This year Bonnaroo has put together a great set of late-night awesomeness. Fan favorites such as Bassnectar, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Bon Iver, and many others will be going on into the dead of night, usually after 12:30. In the past these late-night sets have been held by amazing bands and artists such as Umphrey’s McGee, Deadmau5, Portugal. The Man, Major Lazer, and so many more that the list could be an article unto itself. These sets will go into the wee hours of the morning, and if you have the strength and endurance to brave the night, you might even last until the sun peeks over that glorious Tennessee skyline. On top of these late-night sets at the various stages and tents, there will also be Kalliope, that most glorious of fire-breathing mobile stages, Snake and Jake’s Christmas barn, which is always pumping out killer beats and theme parties, the Silent Disco for when you need to get away and be a party of one, and ambient music throughout the campgrounds in the newly designed Plazas!
Start practicing now, and maybe you will be ready to rage the night away by the time that first weekend in June arrives and you make it back home to the farm! Remember, Roo is a marathon, not a race! Take care of yourselves, and get ready for some of the best days of your entire year!
Also, just for some clarification, because I have seen some people confused by the late-night lineup release, these will be the only official sets by these artists. Just because artists is on the lineup and on the late-night lineup does not mean that they are playing a “regular” and a “late night” set. Just think of this as a sub-lineup within the whole that is Roo. However, miracles do happen, and artists love popping up throughout the Bonnaroo grounds. So if you ever hear a beat you like, go check it out — it might be your favorite artist throwing an impromptu party!
