KAABOO Replaces Nick Offerman with Judd Apatow

The comedy lineup for KAABOO Del Mar Festival is becoming a revolving door. It was previously announced that Pete Holmes was dropping the festival due to expecting his first child to be born at the same time of the festival and was being replaced by Louie Armstrong. Just a couple weeks later, it was also announced that Aparna Nancherla would be replaced with Erik Griffin due to a scheduling conflict.

Today, via their official twitter account, it was announced the comedian and actor Nick Offerman, will no longer be performing at the festival due to filming on a new project, and his spot will be filled with filmmaker and comedian Judd Apatow.

Judd Apatow is the founder of Apatow Productions, which has produced television series Freaks and Geeks, the Netflix series Love, and HBO’s Girls, and he directed the films Knocked Up, This Is 40, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Trainwreck.

He has produced award-winning works such as Superbad, Pineapple Express, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Bridesmaids and many more.

The three-day music and comedy festival takes place this September 14-16 in Del Mar, California. Get your weekend or single-day passes today!
