Lotus: New Year’s Run and Frames Per Second Tour
Lotus closes out 2018 with their New Year’s run: two shows in Michigan, then two more ON Lake Michigan at Park West in Chicago. All four shows will also feature El Ten Eleven.
Lotus released a new album December 5th titled Frames Per Second. The album features 19 instrumental tracks, and there is a studio documentary about the album as well. You can get access to the documentary with the purchase of tickets for their Frames Per Second tour.
We’re taking Frames Per Second on the road in 2019 with multiple shows in Philly, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, DC, and CO, including Red Rocks with special guests Ghostland Observatory.
The jamtronic quintet have a pair of shows in January at Union Transfer in Philadelphia with Tweed, a pair in Buffalo with Jaw Gems, and two more with El Ten Eleven in Millvale, Pennsylvania. Then they’ll jet down to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, where Brainquility Music Festival has found a new home in its second year.
April finds Lotus at Brooklyn Bowl for three shows, followed by two at the 9:30 Club in DC before heading west for a show in Denver and Red Rocks the next night with Ghostland Observatory. The April 4th show at Brooklyn Bowl will find them performing Talking Heads Deconstructed with special guest Gabe Otto.
The Peach Music Festival is the first fest date announced so far for the boys. Look for lots more as lineups continue to reveal.
