Levitate Music and Arts Festival Out with a Scintillating Lineup
Oh happy day! Levitate Music and Arts Festival is out with a diverse lineup that’s sure to please even the most finicky of music fans. Set to take place once again this year in Marshfield MA July 12-14, the festival features headliners Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nathaniel Ratecliff & The Night Sweats and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley.
They will be joined by an extensive undercard including Stick Figure, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Michael Franti and Spearhead, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Wood Brothers, Steel Pulse, Blackberry Smoke, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Soulive, Andy Frasco & the U.N. and many more.
Born out of a community gathering in 2013 to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of Levitate, a community-oriented surf and skate shop, the event has grown into one of the largest grassroots music and arts festivals on the East Coast. Since then, it has hosted such music luminaries as the Trey Anastasio Band, The Head and The Heart, Ziggy Marley, Dispatch, Umphrey’s McGee, Lettuce and Rebelution.
