10th Annual Werk Out Music & Arts Festival Announces Full 2019 Lineup
The tenth annual Werk Out Music & Arts Festival rounds out an already spine-tingling lineup with additional artists that include STS9, Dopapod, Steel Pulse, The Motet, Manic Focus (live band), Kyle Hollingsworth Band and more. Set for August 1-3 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, the three-day festival is hosted by psychedelic dance/rock/jam band The Werks.
Previously announced acts sharing top billing include Big Gigantic and The Claypool Lennon Delirium along with The Floozies, Twiddle, Matisyahu, Opiuo, Turkuaz, Melvin Seals & JGB, Sunsquabi, Cory Wong, MarchFourth, and Joe Marcinek Band.
The festival will also include tributes to two of rock’s legendary bands – Queen and Pink Floyd. We Are The Champions: A Tribute to Queen will feature Turkuaz’s Michaelangelo Carubba, Josh Schwartz, Sammi Garett and Shira Elias as well as Dan Shaw of The Werks, Rob McConnell of Papadosio, Rob Compa of Dopapod, and Ryan Jalbert of The Motet. Fans will also be treated to The Trancident featuring Michael Kang, Kyle Hollingsworth, Michael Travis, and Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident.
While exact names are still under raps, members of The Werks, Papadosio, and Dopapod will also perform a tribute set of Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Festival organizers promise to reveal more details in the coming months.
