The Goo Goo Dolls and Train Kick Off Summer Tour

The Goo Goo Dolls and Grammy Award-winning rock band Train will co-headline an amphitheater-only summer tour.

Long-time fans of the bands will remember some of Train’s biggest hits including “Drops of Jupiter,” “Meet Virginia” and “Hey Soul Sister,” and Goo Goo Dolls hits including “Black Balloon,” “Slide” and “Iris.” Supporting the tour is legendary soul and R&B singer Allen Stone along for many of their concerts. The tour starts on the West Coast and slowly works its way across the U.S., with an East Coast schedule over a two-and-a-half-month period. The tour kicks off June 7 in Auburn WA and wraps up on August 17 in Mansfield MA.

Train is supporting the release of their Greatest Hits album that was released in November of last year. The album consists of 16 of the band’s very best and biggest hits. The Goo Goo Dolls have been busy recording their soon to be released new studio album Miracle Pill; fans of the band have been anxiously awaiting its release, which is expected sometime during the fall.
