Back in the Saddle with The Motet!

The Motet resume their tour Wednesday (July 24) at Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, with shows currently posted through October. After Chico, the band will head to Gambler’s Run Music Festival in Crystal Bay and then Hopmonk Outdoor Garden Stage in Sebastopol.

Next up are three great shows with TAUK and Dopapod (read more here). They have a free show at Denver International Airport scheduled, and at the end of August, heading east, there are three shows, two with The Soul Rebels, two with Perpetual Groove, and two more with Dopapod. Also crammed in there is a festival appearance at SummerDance at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park.

The Motet will hit Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond, Oregon, in September, and they have a run of five shows with Keller Williams in October. Drummer and band founder Dave Watts played on Keller’s seminal recording Laugh 2002.

Funk, soul, jazz, Afrobeat, and rock — this band does it all! The Motet are: Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Drew Sayers (keys and saxophone), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), and Sarah Clarke, (vocals).
