Diggin Dirt: Diggin’ DEEP Grooves

Diggin Dirt describe what they create as “Funk/rock/reggae groove music created behind the redwood curtain in Humboldt County, CA.” That is a decent launching pad, but there is so much more to say about this incredible band. These gents throw down massive R&B grooves as hard as anyone on the planet. Vocalist Zach Alder is the most riveting soul shouter I’ve ever encountered. The band is impossibly tight and joyous.

Diggin Dirt have four festival appearances coming up in addition to six other shows, all on the West Coast. They are slated for Oak Harbor Music Festival, Camp Deep End, Redding Roots Revival Festival, and Joshua Tree Music Festival. There will be more to come, but they do have Jam Cruise 22 penciled in, their second time on the boat. (Indelible ink, actually, not pencil!)
