Gov’t Mule’s Back in the Saddle Tour is Off and Running
The Back in the Saddle Tour is underway, opening Wednesday in Milwaukee. Gov’t Mule’s 29-date tour covers the Midwest and East Coast, sharing the stage for many shows with list of A-listers. That includes six dates in tandem with Tedeschi Trucks Band, a pair with Andy Frasco & the U.N., and shows with Dogs in a Pile, Big Sugar, moe., and JJ Grey & Mofro. Also in there is an appearance at Peoria Blues and Heritage Music Festival.
In the long view, the Mule will return to Trelawny in Jamaica January 15–19 for Island Exodus 16 with a great cast of support, with John Scofield, moe., Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and Warren Haynes solo.
We also saw a memo from Matt Abts explaining that he will not behind the kit for this tour. We wish him a speedy recovery!
