Don Was and The Pan-Detroit Ensemble: New Album, Tour January & February
You would be hard-pressed to suggestion a person more diversified in the music industry than Don Was. His C.V. includes producer, musician, president of Blue Note Records, film composer, voice of Neville the narrator on the ‘Pete the Cat’ animated series, leader of Was (Not Was), music director, and leader of The Wolf Brothers playing with Bob Weir.
Now he has put together a titanic band called Don Was and The Pan-Detroit Ensemble. They toured a bit in the fall, but now, with superb new album Groove in the Face of Adversity just issued, Was will take the show on the road in January and February (and a couple of March dates already).
