Guavatron getting ready to rumble!

West Palm Beach purveyors of livetronica, prog, rock, and funk Guavatron are ready for more magical exploits, beginning with the Mardi Glow J Street Block Party in Lake Worth, then out to Whippersnap Music and Arts Festival at Florida Sand Music Ranch in Brooksville the following weekend. Their set last year included a two-song sit-in by jam queen Kanika Moore!

Next up, the boys return to Terra Fermata for their very own Guavafest with a huge cast of friends, beginning with DJ Brownie (Marc Brownstein of The Disco Biscuits) and The Heavy Pets, still rolling on their 20th anniversary celebration. Also in the mix: Tasty Vibrations, Ambique, Culprit, Digital laundry, Boatload, Peakformat, and artists at large Lee Ross and Guavatron’s own drum machine Cory Ricardy!

Guavatron have a three-day middle of March run up to Savannah (Congress Street Social Club), Asheville (Asheville Music Hall), and Greenville (Asheville Music Hall). Their show at Sarbez! in April is a Goose After-Party, and in May they will hit Bayboro in St. Petersburg and Crazy Uncle Mike’s in Boca Raton with like-minded Philadelphia quartet Solar Circuit.
