A little rain never stops the fun at the Suwannee Roots Revival

This year’s edition of the Suwannee Roots Revival featured a great selection of new artists and the reliable returning artists that make the festival like a family affair. Peter Rowan, Donna the Buffalo, Quartermoon, the Grass is Dead, Nikki Talley, Jon Stickley, Jim Lauderdale, Verlon Thompson, Jeff Mosier and other regulars, we were treated to headliners Leftover Salmon, Trampled by Turtles, Shinyribs and Sam Bush. And new talent was there as well, including Shadowgrass, Asydequest, Eddie 9V and the dynamic Resolvers.

There were the occasional rain delays, but Vassar Sunday was clear and bright and the celebration continued. The weather may have been dicey, but the spirit never left the Suwannee. We’re already waiting for the Suwannee Spring Reunion coming in March with Sierra Hull, Greensky Bluegrass and Dan Tyminski, plus many more.
