Los Amigos Invisibles: Still Highly Visible!

Venezuelan Latin funk/R&B/disco/acid jazz kings Los Amigos Invisibles have six more shows on their current tour. This month, they will play Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, followed by shows in | and Ciudad De México.

There are three stateside shows in September, beginning at Outset in Chicago. At the end of the month, they will pack the Miami Beach Bandshell and then The Abbey in Orlando.

Los Amigo Invisibles

Just who are Los Amigos Invisibles? The current lineup features three members who have been with the band since it was formed in the ’90s: Julio Briceño (a.k.a. “Chulius”), vocals, percussion, songwriting; José Rafael Torres (a.k.a. “Catire”), bass, songwriting; and Juan Manuel Roura (a.k.a. “Mamel” or “Mamulo”), drums, percussion, songwriting. For three decades, this band has been creating delirium every time they step on stage.
