Pigeons Playing Ping Pong: On Beyond Domefest!
You’ve just finished your annual Domefest bash in New River Gorge, the greatest one yet. Now what do you do? If you’re Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and their amazing entourage, you step right back on that tour bus for another 32 dates through December!
PPPP launch this new phase at Party In The Park in Rochester August 14 with Eddie 9V. They will match up with Eddie 9V seven more times. Next up are four festival raves at SummerDance, Adirondack Independence Music Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, and Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion.
The foursome will get more mileage in October, sharing the stage with BIG Something, Chalk Dinosaur, Dizgo, and the aforementioned Eddie 9V, closing the month with a Halloween appearance at Suwannee Hulaween. Also in there is a three-night run at Paradise Rock Club in Boston and a Ramble Fest appearance close to their Maryland nest.
Another dozen shows dot the November calendar, including to five with Mr. 9V, four with Dizgo, and singles with Eggy and Dogs in a Pile. They have a pair of dates at The Capitol in Port Chester in December, one with Spafford and one with Great Blue.
On top of all that, get ready for the new Pigeons Playing Ping Pong studio album Feed the Fire October 3; you can listen to the new single “Calm Before the Storm” NOW!
