Mothers Finest: Alive and Absolutely Kickin’!

Mothers Finest formed in 1970, and for 55 years they’ve lived by one motto: “Too Funk for Rock, Too Rock for Funk.” Except that neither is true. The Atlanta sextet throw down an astonishing brand of Mothers Finest music that attracts fans across a wide swath of genres, and they never disappoint. These are — by far — some of the “hardest working people in show biz.”

Mothers Finest have two October shows stateside — New Orleans Jazz Market and Natchez Balloon Festival — before eleven dates in Europe mid-November into December. They will close out 2025 with shows at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur and Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, and they have shows booked in the Carolinas in February.
