Dopapod Invites Dopamoms and The Juantee to Sit In at Brooklyn Bowl

Dopapod returned to Brooklyn Bowl this past weekend for three nights, March 23-25, with special guest Sophistafunk, The Jauntee, Paris Monster and Chuck’s and Neal’s Dopamoms! The energy was high, the music was amazing, and the three-night run went off without a hitch. MusicFestNews was on site Friday 3/24 with The Jauntee starting off the night in great fashion with a sit-in from Eli Winderman of Dopapod, but that wasn’t nearly the most shocking moment of the night. Dopapod invited some special guests up on stage to end the first set. Drummer Neal “Fro” Evans’ and bassist Chuck Jones’ mothers came on stage to perform a song of their own and remained on stage to play through a tune with their boys to bring us into setbreak, finishing off an extremely high-energy set. We were also blessed with a sit-in from The Jauntee guitarist Caton Sollenberger late in Dopapod’s second set, showing how interconnected and respected these artist are to each other.
